This gauge doesn't say exactly when the propane tank will be empty, It shows an approximate value. Its judgement will be affected by the weather pressure. In hot weather the pressure increases and in cold weather the pressure decreases, therefore the same amount of Propane will show different levels on the gauge's meter.
