"THE NEW APPROACH FOR REMOVING MOISTURE"
PROFESSIONAL FORMULA
FOR "ALL" Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Systems 1/4HP and Larger.
Part# 973KIT
The active ingredient in DRY R&; reacts with water to produce stable products that are soluble in AB, Mineral, POE and PAG oils used in refrigeration systems in essence, eliminating moisture from the system.
No particulates, gels or polymers are formed.
DRY R&; does not work by lowing the freezing point of water but is a chemical which reacts to the H²O molecule and reassembles it to form new liquids which are completely soluble with AB, Mineral, POE and PAG oils used in refrigeration systems; in essence, eliminating moisture from the system.
The new liquids will not solidify into particulate, gels, polymers or form oil like substances.
Instead DRY R&; will form a soluble unity with the systems oil helping to condition and stabilize by lowering overall moisture ppm within the body of the oil.
The chemical nature and fast acting reaction of the product will help reduce system moisture quickly allowing the liquid line drier to achieve a greater amount of work done.
Excess moisture form the drier will also be converted which will allow more room for additional moisture reclamation during operations.
By eliminating moisture, DRY R&; allows the oil to continue to condition and stabilize the refrigeration system.
In addition, fast-acting DRY R&; eliminates moisture from the liquid line drier extending the ability of this component to remove water from the system.
The elimination of the excess moisture from the drier will allow more room for additional moisture reclamation during operations.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Important before proceeding
For professional use only: Always wear safety glasses and protective gloves
Always point can bottom away from yourself when charging or injecting - Can bottom has a pressure relief valve which will release if pressure exceeds 300 Psig / 2068 KPa
The system should be fully charged before injecting
Cliplight Dry
Guidelines:
One 1 fl oz / 30 ml can per AC/R system 230 btuh / 0.067KW and up to 5 ton / 17.6 KW or per automobile
Two 1 fl oz / 30 ml cans per AC/R system over 5 ton / 17.6 KW and up to 25 ton / 88 KW or per commercial vehicle
INSTRUCTIONS
clock wise = cw and counter clockwise = ccw.
1.
Turn off A/C unit and allow enough time for refrigerant to equalize in system.
2.
Confirm that can tapper piercing pin (B) is fully retracted below seating washer. Turn valve handle (A) ccw.
3.
Thread
Cliplight Dry R&;
can (C) onto can-tapper (B) by turning cw. Be careful not to thread or over tighten.
4.
Thread female fitting (D) onto vacuum pump and draw vacuum for approximately 1 minute to eliminate air in tap hose. (Where Regional and Federal laws permit you may use systems refrigerant to purge hose.
Connect hose to low side charging port while unit is off and back off can from tapping valve allowing refrigerant up to the tapping valve can assembly. Skip to step 7.)
5.
Remove female fitting (D) from vacuum pump while it is running to maintain vacuum in tap hose. After disconnecting shut down vacuum pump.
6.
Thread female fitting (D) onto low side service port immediately after removing from vacuum pump.
7.
Turn can-tapper piercing handle (A) cw until it stops. This action pierces the can.
8.
Hold can upside down and above the low side service port. Turn handle (A) ccw slowly allowing the system's refrigerant to fully charge can. The can will become warm once the refrigerant mixes with its contents. Allow the can to dissipate the additional heat of charging which should take between 5 to 10 minutes depending on systems charge and ambient air conditions. When the can's temperature has equalized with ambient air conditions then proceed with next step. Be sure to check that all connections from can to unit are secure and that there is no leakage occurring.
9.
Turn handle (A) cw until it stops, isolating charged can from A/C or R unit.
10 While holding the can upside down, turn on A/C or R unit. Slowly turn handle (A) ccw gradually releasing
Cliplight DRY R
&;
into the system. This should take approximately 3 to 5 minutes. Releasing
Cliplight Dry R
&;
too quickly could result in liquid slugging. Shake can gently to determine when empty. If all of the contents in can are not emptied after 5 minutes then turn can-tapper piercing handle (A) cw until it stops. Turn off A/C or R unit and repeat steps 8, 9 and 10 as many times as necessary to empty contents of can. This should dislodge any particles that may have entered the can from the refrigerant system. If this fails remove hose from low side service port, while A/C or R unit is on, and attach hose to refrigerant canister and charge can. Close valve CW and reattach can to low side of the A/C or R system. Slowly open valve ccw and inject
Cliplight DRY R
&;
into system. Proceed to step 11.
11.
Once can is empty remove female fitting (D) from low side service port, while the unit is running.
12.
Reclaim residual refrigerant from can and hose using a recovery machine. When finished reclaiming refrigerant, dispose of can and hose.
NOTE:
Units which have a liquid line site glass indicating a color change for wet system condition will change to the dry indicator color after the product has been successfully injected. Change will occur in most cases after a 24 hour cycle of operations has taken place.
Cliplight DRY R
&;
will not deteriorate the wet/dry sensing element.
TAPPING VALVE AND HOSE NOT TO BE REUSED
Eye Contact: In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice
Skin Contact: Remove contaminated clothing. Wash with soap and water. If irritation persists or if contact has been prolonged, obtain medical attention.
